You should be comfortable working by yourself and collaborate with the larger team. You will start with building Identity platform and eventually owning the broader portfolio of the SaaS Platform. What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis? As a Senior Engineer of the VMware's Cloud Services, you will be responsible for developing the platform that delivers a consistent experience and dramatically accelerates the SaaS delivery of all VMware SaaS services.

You will be leading the transformation of VMware products to SaaS and have direct ownership of this key SaaS enabling platform. As someone with strong SaaS delivery experience, you will not only provide technical guidance but take a position of authority on shaping the strategy, plan and ensure rapid delivery of services with quality. As a Staff Engineer, you will be instrumental in our initiatives to build and launch new services and solutions that are key to VMware's exciting and evolving strategic SaaS direction.

You will initially be part an established team that has a wide range of core platform responsibilities, but the expectation is that you will help blaze a new trail for the team and organization in the area of Identity. Knowledge spanning multiple platforms and architectures with deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and performance optimization techniques.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with technical and non-technical multi-functional teamsMust have experience building large scale, high performance systems and software.
