This position will be based in our HQ located in Ashburn, VA on a Hybrid/Remote schedule

Responsibilities:

Participate in the full software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, documentation, and deployment
Develop and maintain software applications for organizational messaging systems, adhering to established coding standards and best practices
Maintain and modify legacy code
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure messaging solutions
Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of software via thorough testing, debugging, and optimization
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices
Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and collaborate with team members to drive continuous improvement.
Present complex, technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

An active DoD Secret Clearance is required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline with 8+ years' experience, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience in lieu of a degree (6 years)
Solid understanding of software development methodologies, design patterns, and best practices
Proficiency and experience building web interfaces via React components
Proficiency in working with SQL, C#, JavaScript, git - in other words, a full stack developer
Ideal candidate would have experience porting from .NET Framework to .NET Core
Strong written and verbal communications skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels are required
A professional attitude regarding attention to detail and customer service and excellent organizational skills are required
